I'm unemployed

Are you disabled and looking for help to find a job?

Ellingham: Experts in the employment of people with disabilities since 1984

Our Employment Programmes are designed for long term unemployed people who have a range of disabilities, and who have the desire and potential to gain employment.

Like anyone else, the clients we serve have ambitions and aspirations to live fulfilling lives and have no wish to stay or rely on the state benefit system.

Employment Programmes - Criteria

We support people with a wide variety of disabilities such as:

Learning disability

Sensory impairment

Physical impairment

Mental health

Medical condition

The definition of Disability is:  “a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term negative effect on your ability to do normal daily activities”.

Our objective is to support our clients to obtain employment on an equal footing to their non-disabled colleagues and to assist employers to recruit from a more diverse talent pool.

We work with people aged 18-60, and actively seek paid jobs and/or supported employment placements for those clients who have shown commitment and a realistic concept of the world of work.

Work Programme

The Work Programme provides support to people who are long-term unemployed to help you find work. We are delivering specialist support to people with disabilities who require extra help or support.

Expand

We are disability employment specialists with over 30 years experience of supporting people with disabilities into work.

Our aim is to provide the support you need throughout your individual journey into employment.  Therefore, as well as offering you the support, information and training you need to get a job, we will provide  you with help once you are there.
