Latest Latest news Ellingham Artists Win "Best Public Vote" To mark Learning Disability Awareness Month, London's Tate Modern presented a showcase of artwork made by adults with learning disabilities in order to spotlight the creative abilities of individuals and groups who responded to the theme The Beauty of Life. A group of artists from I Can Ventures took part in workshops held at The Junction in Leytonstone and prepared amazing pieces of work using a variety of mediums. The Mayor of Waltham Forest, Cllr. Chris Robbins judged the event and I Can Ventures were fortunate to have 5 pieces of art work chosen to be displayed for one day at the Tate Modern. One of the pieces - produced on wood and depicting our clients in activities - received the “Best Public vote”. A large group traveled to London to see the work which will be displayed at our Autumn craft fair for all our carers to see. Congratulations to all who took part, and especially to our winners!
