Overview

Ellingham Employment Services Ltd. is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, established in 1984.

We support people with disabilities within two main areas of speciality:

  • Day Opportunities
  • Employment Programmes

Day Opportunities

Ellingham are pioneering meaningful and empowering services for people with learning disabilities.  Our I Can Ventures day opportunity service is a bold vision.  We want to do away with the mediocrity of traditional day services.  Why should people with learning disabilities accept second best when choosing services?

We support individuals to learn and develop vocational and life skills, whilst enjoying social interaction and the chance to participate in fun, positive and constructive activities.

Employment Programmes

We work with people with a wide range of disabilities that may make it difficult for them to find employment and run specialist programmes designed to assist them into work.  In addition we provide advice and support to employers to help them employ and retain people with disabilities.

We are experts in this field of work, with a team of dedicated professionals who are experienced in integrating people with disabilities into the workplace.

We also run a number of programmes specifically for young people with special educational needs and/or learning disabilities.

Our team of specialists includes staff with a business/commercial background, as well as those highly qualified in the area of training and further education of people with disabilities.

This means our approach looks after the interests of employers, as well as the vocational needs of our clients.
