Personal Reader

Ellingham Employment Services – Greenford

We are looking for a Personal Reader to support our customer, who has a visual impairment.

You will work up to 6 hours per week as this is a shared role but, in some instances, there may be a need to do ad-hoc hours.

Working days will be Thursdays 11am -1pm and Fridays 11am-1pm at £11.50p/h.

The post is based in Greenford, in the London Borough of Ealing. This is a rewarding role which offers the chance to gain experience of working with a large charity alongside the opportunity to make a difference to someone’s life.

The reader is required to support someone who works as a telephone fundraiser for a well-known charity. You will help our customer to make calls and log the outcome of those calls on the database. You will be confident working with data and reading aloud, have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and able to communicate clearly. The post holder will be expected to use the company’s IT systems, for which training will be provided.  There are 3 team meeting per year and training will be given before starting.
