Roving Reporters We support people with LD to use new media technology in order to make accessible online information about services and facilities that are available in the borough and beyond. Roving Reporters approach organisations that offer a service, facility or activities that may be of interest. Roving Reporters are then supported to visit the organisation and participate or otherwise interact with what they have to offer. During this visit the Roving Reporters find out about the service, document their experiences, collect a range of multimedia content, interview key staff, etc. This content that they collect is then used to create simple information which is fed back to peers. Participants benefit by being supported to travel within their community (sometimes for the first time), meet people, go to new and interesting places.
